"You can enter any time the portal is white, and exit any time as well. Once the person is waking up, you'll get transported back here automatically." Kakashi informed and let Naruto step up to the portal. Looking around, the blonde saw many other people entering and exiting the dream realm. Taking a breath, his portal opened, and he slowly walked inside.

At first, Naruto saw nothing. It was hazy and quiet. In a way it was mystical, almost peaceful. The blonde boy made his way through the darkness until he saw a bright light in the distance. Naruto paused, unsure if he should check it out or not. Was this the usual dream experience? Regardless, he figured he should call out Sasuke's name just in case."...Sasuke? Are you here?" There was no response. Naruto decided to walk closer to the light. Once he was face to face with the glowing area, he took one more look around.
"Sasuke?" Still nothing. With a sigh, Naruto gradually made his way into the light. He rubbed his eyes and adjusted to the new scenery. It was a classroom. The sun was almost setting as the golden rays lit up the room. Each desk was empty except for one. In the back of the classroom sat a black haired boy resting his head in his arms.
"...Sasuke..?" Naruto said quietly as he approached the other. Even while dreaming, this boy was still sleeping. This made Naruto chuckle a bit. Confused, Naruto pondered whether he should interact with the other. He lightly tapped Sasuke's shoulder. To Naruto's surprise, Sasuke's head shot up. He must be really sensitive to touch.

"...Everyone left? This isn't good..." Sasuke muttered, looking around for his bag.
"Um, you're Sasuke right?" Naruto twiddled his fingers, shifting his weight back and forth. This was awkward.
"I'm Naru—"
"Hey, idiot. When did I fall asleep?" Sasuke said ignoring the blonde and cutting him off. "What?! Who are you calling idiot?! You're the one who doesn't even realize this is a dream!" Naruto spat out, crossing his arms.
"Oh. So I'm just dreaming. Makes sense, I don't remember giving my name to such a nuisance." Sasuke stood up from his desk and started walking towards the exit.
"Hey, what do you mean? We just met!" Naruto fussed. "Where are you going?? I didn't think a guy like you would be so ignorant. Especially because you're a huge loner." Naruto huffed, following Sasuke aimlessly.
"Excuse me? You don't have a say in that. You're only a fraction of my imagination you dumbass—And would you quit following me? You're becoming a real pain." The raven male continued to walk down the halls, heading towards the door to leave.
"Fraction of your imagination? Well aren't you a real bundle of joy. Why did I have to get stuck with such a negative human!? Hey, Kakashi do you hear me?!" Naruto yelled up into the abyss.
"What are you going on about now? Didn't I tell you to get lost already?" Sasuke didn't stop for Naruto as he left the school. Naruto furrowed his brow. Sasuke's dream was beginning to shift as he found himself in the woods. This time, Sasuke spotted him first.
"Alright come clean Naruto. Why are you stalking me?" The blonde spun around to see Sasuke in archery gear. A bow and arrow was in his hand. Holy sh*t could I die? Naruto thought to himself. Then he realized anything could happen in a dream. It'll be alright.
"You remembered my name." Naruto said, keeping an eye on the bow.
"I don't forget a name. Especially not one as ridiculous as yours." The corners of Sasuke's mouth curved upwards. Was he smiling?
"Ok pipsqueak, I'll give you a chance to fess up. However I still find you absolutely annoying."
"Who are you calling pipsqueak? I'm basically the same height as you!" Naruto put his hands on his hips. "And it's not nice to brush off someone who may want to be your friend."
"You're right." Sasuke lifted his bow. "Better off I didn't have too."
Naruto began to sweat. What was his deal? Is this why no one else ever came too close to him? Did he push everyone away? The blonde thought about what Kakashi had said. Different dream dwellers were assigned to different humans depending on the situation. Why was I chosen for Sasuke?
"Normally when I lucid dream I can just think away thoughts I don't like. However you're still here. What would happen if I were to kill you?" Sasuke's eyes became cold again. Naruto took a deep breath. Instead of fighting Sasuke's anger he decided to do what he thought was right. Accept it. He walked a little closer and held his arms out as if he were a big target.
"You can kill me if you want. Even if I am just a made up being in your imagination I'm still a part of you." Naruto said calmly. "I want to be friends with you Sasuke."
For a moment, Sasuke became quiet. Naruto still held his stance, allowing himself to be vulnerable. The raven male pulled his arrow back, and let go. Naruto watched in amazement as the arrow hurled forward. Then, he looked at Sasuke. His expression was different now. It was softer, full of longing. Before the tip of the arrow hit Naruto's chest, everything faded to white. When Naruto adjusted his eyes, he was back in the dream realm. Sasuke's portal changed to purple once again. He was waking up.
